MEMORY OF A BODY THROUGH TIME

Call for auditions

The choreographer Yesenia Fuentes is seeking three highly experienced and sensitive dancers in Montreal. This call is to dancers with contemporary dance and scenic experience, creative personality, and an interest in solo and teamwork. The creation process will be from June to August 2022, and production from spring 2023.

Yesenia is interested in defining legacies and memories held in the body. She wants to explore the dichotomy between the external manipulation caused by history, and the real essence of each one. How is this body able to transform itself to experience both joy and freedom?

There will be two dates for auditions: Saturday 21st from 14H30 to 17H30 and Monday from 10H to 13H at the studios of Circuit Est.

If you want to take part please send us your artistic CV, a photo and/or a short video of a maximum of 3 minutes, and the preferred date to audition to yeseniafuentes.art@gmail.com. You will receive a confirmation email.
